Maintenance & Repair Coverage (M&R)

The purchase of M&R Coverage is voluntary, and paid monthly, due on the monthly payment date and applying to the current month only. Coverage includes routine maintenance and repair of normal wear and tear and accidental damage necessary to keep the instrument in proper playing condition. Repairs must be performed by a Pecknel Music Repair Technician. Delivery and pick up of instruments to/from our shops for repairs under this Coverage must be made at customer’s expense. Coverage does not include damage resulting from willful neglect or careless treatment, vandalism, unauthorized repairs, restoration of finish, general cleaning, polishing, chemical/ultrasonic cleaning, case repairs, cosmetic dents or scratches that do not affect the playing condition, or replacement of lost parts.

Important Coverage Information

  • Coverage is optional.
  • Coverage is billed monthly.
  • Coverage applies only while payments are current.
  • Repairs must be completed by Pecknel Music technicians.
  • Customer is responsible for transportation or shipping to and from Pecknel Music.
  • Coverage does not include expendable supplies such as reeds, oils, lubricants, strings, drum heads, sticks, bow hair, and similar consumables.
  • Coverage excludes damage caused by intentional misuse, vandalism, or unauthorized repair work.
