Our Red Tag Instruments are previously rented student instruments, typically 3 years old or older, that have been professionally serviced in our repair shop with the same care and precision we give to every instrument at Pecknel Music.

Each instrument is fully performance-ready, meeting our high standards for tone, response, and reliability. While these instruments may show cosmetic wear—such as scratches, lacquer blemishes, or case scuffs—they are fully functional and ready to support the next musician’s journey.

Our Red Tag selection can include preferred brands such as Accent, Jupiter, Selmer, Cannonball, Yamaha, and others. However, brand availability is not guaranteed and is offered strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
