Its two single-coil pickups allow players to shape their sound by adjusting the contribution of each pickup. Favor one position for a different tonal character, or blend both pickups to unlock the articulate response and definition associated with the classic Jazz Bass design.
The result is a bass capable of moving comfortably between deep supporting lines, articulate fingerstyle playing, energetic rock passages, funky grooves, and more defined tones that cut through a full band mix.
For players who need one passive electric bass to cover numerous genres and playing situations, the Classic Vibe ’70s Jazz Bass offers an appealing combination of vintage character and practical versatility.
