The Boss Katana-210 Bass is a high-performance combo amplifier built for bassists who demand versatility, tone, and road-ready features in one unit. Combining reliable power, flexible sound shaping, and modern connectivity, it’s equally suited for rehearsal, recording, or live performance.
Powered by a 160 W class AB amplifier (300 W peak) driving two custom 10″ woofers and a tweeter (with on/off switch), the Katana-210 Bass delivers punchy lows, crisp highs, and full-spectrum tone.
Three selectable amp voicings — Vintage, Flat, and Modern — let you tailor your sound from warm and organic to clean or aggressive. Each voicing offers tonal flexibility using a Shape switch with options like mid-scoop, bright, and extended range.
The Katana-210 Bass includes four independent effects sections (Comp, Drive, FX1, FX2), enabling complex tone chains inside the amp without pedals. A Blend control allows you to mix in the dry signal to maintain clarity and punch even with multiple effects.
Sound shaping is handled via a 4-band EQ (Bass, Low-Mid, High-Mid, Treble) with selectable frequency options for low- and high-mid bands, giving precise control over your tonal character.
Onboard Power Control allows you to crank the tone at lower volumes (down to 1 W) — great for home practice or late-night studio sessions.
For modern connectivity and recording workflow, the Katana-210 includes:
USB interface
Phones/Rec out with cabinet emulation (“Air Feel”)
Balanced XLR direct out (selectable Pre / Post / Direct)
External speaker jack
Link to BOSS Tone Studio editor software for deep tone editing
Optional support for Bluetooth Audio-MIDI adaptor
This all-in-one bass amplifier gives players flexibility, advanced tone control, and enough power to hold its own in a live mix.
