At its heart is an 8-ply, 9 mm cherry shell, chosen for its ability to enhance projection while preserving a warm, rounded timbre. The drum features a hybrid bearing edge—SONIClear™ on the batter side and a sharp 45° edge on the snare side—which ensures clarity and resonance at all dynamic levels. 

It’s outfitted with Majestic’s OP-01 strainer, a smooth and silent mechanism with a laser-engraved fine-tuning adjustment. The integrated bridge ensures optimal snare cable contact with the resonant head, enhancing responsiveness across the playing surface. 

To support durability and consistent tuning, the model includes Rigid-Cast claw hooks, chrome-plated “I” lugs, and single-flanged brass hoops. It ships with a premium head set — Remo Diplomat Coated batter head and Diplomat hazy snare side — along with a Frequency Modifier (PFM1465) tuning accessory for tonal adjustments.
